Farmers DEfense
Quality gardening sleeves (plus gloves, hats and more) to protect your skin from thorns, burns and other irritation in the garden. I love them for picking anything in the squash family (I hate the prickly vines!), digging potatoes, mowing the yard, picking blackberries… they even have kids’ sizes!

EatPluck
EatPluck is a beef organ-based seasoning. Beef organs, such as liver, are some of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. EatPluck is embracing “microdosing” of the powerhouse foods by formulating truly delicious seasoning blends for any meal. I like to use the All-Purpose seasoning on our eggs in the morning! I promise it doesn’t taste like liver. That’s the beauty of it!

Redmond’s Real Salt
I LOVE using Redmond’s Real Salt in my kitchen. This is a salt mined in Utah, packed with over 60 trace minerals. The fine salt has a beautiful pink color and I use it in everything from every day seasoning of food, to making sauerkraut, canning and salting my afternoon pick-me-up drinks.
But they are so much more than just salt for food! This family-owned company actually got their start in livestock salt mineral products. They have lines of salt and mineral products for a variety of animal species, as well.

Beef Liver Capsules from Perfect Supplements
I’ve taken the Desiccated Beef Liver Supplements from Perfect Supplements for several years now. I was convinced of the immense nutritional value of beef liver was I was pregnant with our first. They helped supplement my energy, as well as support my iron stores throughout pregnancy and then 2 years of lactation. They’ve become a simple, but powerful, part of my daily routine!
Harvest Right
Freeze drying is a new form of food preservation to hit the scene in recent years. I do not yet own one, but I have been paying close attention to this company and the testimonials of others. And I can’t lie, I CANNOT wait to own one! I don’t currently have the space… so patience…
The ultimate in food preservation, with the food able to last for upwards of 25 YEARS. I can easily see myself preserving all sorts of gardening products, making snacks, just-at-water quick dinners and more (every few days, I think of some other possibility!). Think hiking snacks, emergency food supply, baby food… All which are shelf-stable!
EarthleY Wellness
Earthley is a family-owned business based out of Ohio that specializes on a host of health and wellness products. I primarily us them for a few specific herbal tinctures. I like to have a few options for common ailments in our house. Feel Better Fast is used at the first glimmer of most any illness, to support the immune system. It is my favorite, among many great products! I also like that they always designate safety for children, pregnancy and lactation.

Lehmans
We love a good Amish general store, and Lehman’s is the king of them all! Nestled in Ohio’s Amish country, Lehman’s is an old time mercantile of goods for your home and farm. Needs something for your wood stove? They’ve got it. Need a book on keeping chickens? They’ve got it. Get the catalog to flip through their unique selection!
Kelso and Co
Kelso and Co (formerly Rosebud’s Tees) is a Midwest-inspired ag t-shirt company, owned by a fellow veterinarian! I have loved to watch her small business grow, especially through her recent rebrand. Expect lots of t-shirt designs featuring corn, water towers and tractors, inspired by her Illinois roots. I have several of her designs, but the “This is my crop top” corn shirt is by far my favorite!

4d Ag Fashion
Water proof bibs, shoulder protectors, aprons, calf jackets and more. I wear the bibs and shoulder guard when we preg check cows or do otherwise mucky jobs around the farm. Rae has a pair that are bright orange, which is great for farm kid safety. She also has an apron, which currently just gets worn inside when she “does the dishes,” two-year-old style!
I met Elizabeth, the owner of 4D Ag Fashion, a few years ago at a cow vet conference. I bought my first pair of 4D Ag water-proof bibs that week. She has grown this company leaps and bounds since then! They provide great customer service and are another American-owned and American-made company I love to support.
